The next GPA meeting and training will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 10 a.m. We will meet in the COMPSTAT Room in the Detective Bureau of the Macon Police Department. The Detective Bureau is attached to City Hall. Parking is allowed anywhere on the street and also in a vacant lot directly across from the Detective Bureau. Lunch will be brought in from Finchers Barbecue (a Macon favorite since 1935) at a cost of $8.00 per attendee.

Training will be presented by Tracy L. Alvord. Ms. Alvord is a licensed Professional Counselor and co-founder/owner of the North Georgia Forensic Counseling Center where she specializes in Sex Offender Treatment. She is also a Supplemental Instructor for the American International Institute of Polygraph for psychology and the use of polygraph in sex offender treatment. She will make a presentation on the Use of Polygraph with Sex Offenders.
